Image Describer is designed with privacy in mind.

• We collect only what is necessary to operate the Service
• We do not sell personal data
• Uploaded images are processed only to generate requested results

1.Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you use Image Describer, we may process:

• Images you upload for description or analysis
• Text inputs such as prompts or instructions
• Messages you send to us via email

Automatically Collected Information

For security and performance, we may collect limited technical data:

• Browser type and device information
• IP address (used for security and abuse prevention)
• Usage metrics (feature usage, performance logs)

2.How We Use Information

We use collected information solely to:

• Provide and improve Image Describer
• Generate image descriptions, alt text, and AI prompts
• Maintain platform security and prevent abuse
• Monitor reliability and performance
• Respond to support inquiries

Image Describer does not sell or rent personal information.

3.Image & Data Handling

Image Processing

• Images are processed only to fulfill your request
• Uploaded images are not used for advertising or profiling
• We do not train public models on user-uploaded images

Data Retention

Temporary server uploads are removed after processing, with a one-day expiry as a cleanup fallback. Signed model URLs expire after 15 minutes.

Successful Image Describer results and processed images are saved locally in IndexedDB on your browser, not synced to a cloud history. Local history retains up to 20 records for 7 days, with a total image limit of 100 MB across this browser. Expired records are removed on the next history access, and older records may be removed sooner to meet storage limits. You can delete individual records or clear your local history from the tool. Clearing browser site data also removes these records.

Local history is separated by account within the app; signing out hides account records, and anonymous records are not automatically merged into an account. This is not encryption or protection from someone with access to your browser profile. Cross-tool image transfers expire after 30 minutes. Payment-recovery images continue to use their separate 30-minute retention window. Browser storage restrictions or browser eviction may prevent saving or restoring records.

4.Third-Party Services

Image Describer relies on trusted third-party providers for:

• Cloud infrastructure
• AI model execution
• Basic analytics

These providers:

• Act only on our instructions
• Are bound by confidentiality and security obligations
• Do not obtain ownership of your data

5.Cookies & Analytics

We use:

• Essential cookies required for core functionality
• Privacy-friendly analytics to understand usage patterns

We do not use cross-site advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

6.Data Security

We apply reasonable safeguards to protect your data, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS)
• Access controls and monitoring
• Minimal data retention policies

While we strive to protect your data, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

7.Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Request deletion of your information
