FAQ

Frequently asked questions about subscription, billing, usage, privacy, etc.

How does billing work?
One-time credit packs have no recurring charge. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically and add credits after each successful payment. Prices and credit amounts are shown in the plan selector; available payment methods are shown at checkout.
How many credits does an analysis use?
For image analysis, each selected output type costs 1 credit per image. One image with Description and Alt Text costs 2 credits; 10 images with these two outputs cost 20 credits if all complete. Selecting no output defaults to Detailed Description. Paid accounts can select multiple outputs.
What can I use for free?
The main image describer offers 1 guest image analysis without login, subject to trial and abuse-prevention limits. Creating a new account grants 5 credits once. Signed-in users can manually claim 3 credits once per UTC day. Claim availability resets at 00:00 UTC, when the previous daily reward expires. Daily rewards do not accumulate; signup credits have no expiry.
Do unused credits expire?
Current one-time and API credit packs have no expiry. Monthly subscription credits expire at the billing period end plus a 24-hour processing grace period; they do not automatically roll over. Daily reward credits expire at the end of the UTC day they are claimed.
Will a failed analysis use credits?
Image analysis deducts credits after the model output stream completes. Upload or validation failures, insufficient balance and a model stream that fails before completion do not deduct analysis credits. A completed generation still uses credits if its wording needs correction, or if copying, downloading or the connection fails afterward. Each new completed analysis is charged again.
What are the batch limits?
The batch tool accepts up to 100 images, each up to 20 MB, with up to 200 MB of source files in total. Images are processed sequentially and each completed image is billed by its selected output count. You need enough available credits; selecting multiple outputs in the interface requires a paid account. These limits apply across plans.
Where are my images and results stored?
Temporary server uploads are removed after processing, with a one-day expiry as a cleanup fallback. Results and processed images can be saved in this browser for up to 7 days and 20 records, within a 100 MB image limit. They are not synced to cloud history. Delete or clear them from Recent results. See the Privacy Policy for third-party processing and retention details.
What can I export?
The main tool supports copying and downloading results; the batch tool exports completed results as CSV, TXT or JSON. ZIP packaging, custom enterprise exports and automatic publishing are not included.
Are team workspaces, SDKs or webhooks included?
These plans do not include team seats, shared projects, white-label deployment, an official SDK, analysis-result webhooks or a contractual uptime SLA. API key authentication is available for the direct analysis endpoint; contact support to confirm the request format and integration requirements before purchasing for API use.
How do I cancel or request a refund?
Use the billing management entry to cancel future subscription renewals. Cancellation does not automatically refund a payment or extend credit expiry. Refund eligibility is governed by the Payments & Refund Policy; contact support@imagedescriber.dev for billing or account-deletion requests.
